Examples
The idea of the system presented in the below examples consists in the fact that it is not necessary to record each time the changing information on goods pricing, account balance, settlements, address, etc. and that it's is the computer which reads this information over the phone to an authorised customer using the data-bases of other IT systems, where these data are used and changed on an on-going basis. The system will read current, indicated in the scenario data in line with the customers' expectations expressed through pressing by them relevant combinations of telephone keys.
The system can replace in this way many operators - it can concurrently handle many telephone lines and provide information for 24h.
1. Bankofon - telephone information on the current account balance and recent operations.
After setting up the connection with the telephone number indicated by the bank the customer will hear in the receiver:
"Good morning your Bank is speaking..
... If you want to obtain information on the current credit offer press 1
If you want to obtain information on the current exchange rates press 2
If you want to obtain information on the current balance in your account press 3, etc.
The customer presses key 3 and he can hear the following message:
"Please provide your account number"
The customer enters his account number and he can hear:
"Please provide your access code"
The customer enters the required code. If the code is wrong, the call is interrupted and the customer is required to enter the code again. If the code is correct, then he can hear:
"As at ............. your account balance is positive (or negative) and it totals .......
If you want the system to repeat the information press 1
If you want to finish the call press 2"
The customer presses 2 in the telephone keyboard and he can hear the following message:
"Thank you for using our banking service"
The telephone call is finished
2. Commodities exchange information - Telephone information on the current prices
After setting up the connection with the telephone number indicated by the commodities exchange the customer will hear in the receiver:
"Good morning Commodities Exchange is speaking...
..If you want to receive information on the current prices of domestic flowers press 1
If you want to receive information on the current prices of imported flowers press 2
If you want to receive information on the current prices of domestic fruit press 3 etc.
The customer presses 1 in the telephone keyboard and he can hear the following message:
"Current prices of roses press 1, current prices of violets press 2, ............."
and further as in the previous example
