The sale of computer hardware, its completion and service are carried out based on the agreements and manufacturers authorisation training sessions. The company's offer related to the services of designing, installing and managing the resources of computer networks of a local and corporate range is increasingly broader. Structural cabling - selection of the relevant technology, assembly and certification - represents only a part of this offer. The integration of different operating environments, ensuring the reliability of conducted data transmission, security of collected information as well as permanent supervision and consultation in the Hot-line mode in the area of provided services represent an important part of our offer.

Hardware, operating systems, software

The offer of computer hardware covers both simple solutions of the CISC type - with the dominant PC Intel platform as well as the comprehensive multi-processor constructions of developed rozbudowanych graphic stations and servers, including RISC

Both in the case of individual stations and servers we ensure installations, updates and optimum set up of different operating systems such as AIX, HP-UX, Sinix, Tru64 Unix, SCO Unix, UnixWare, Linux, Netware, Windows NT. Under the brand of Compol we assembly the hardware of single and multi-processor constructions INTEL, AMD, ALPHA. We also configure, deliver and conduct the service of hardware based on the concluded agreements and attended authorising training sessions of such manufacturers as: IBM, HP, APC, Compaq, Xerox, Siemens, Toshiba, Epson, Oki, 3Com and others. In the mode W trybie from 8 to 24 hours we reconfigure or repair the hardware for many customers countrywide. Our own service points and established technical co-operation with other companies and universities allows our company to meet many service obligations. Their professional contents and timeliness is confirmed by many positive references and executed long-term service agreements.

Computer networks - integration of operating environments, configuration of services

The company deals with designing and installing LANs and their more comprehensive structures - WANs commencing with the selection of communication technology, operating system - scope of provided services, manner of network management, securing its confidentiality and integrity and finishing with the delivery of networks, tests, measurements, certification process as well as later supervision and service.

Projects are optimised in terms of investor's transmission requirements needed to provide services, costs of construction and costs of exploitation. LAN networks most frequently require the change or update of operating environments or their integration at the level of AIX, HP-UX, Tru64 Unix, SCO Unix, UnixWare, Linux, Netware, Windows NT. The provision and set up of services in these systems represents our general and usual work.

Growing importance of Internet results in the increase of performed Intra- and Extranet projects. In the systems connecting customers' own networks with public networks the fundamental for all our proposals are the costs of exploitation (mainly the costs of lease and of access to links), security of customer data, system reliability and scalability. Within network integration we ensure also access to general internet IT services- banking, sales, transport and education.

We develop the concepts of WAN networks and deliver realizujemy them partially at the customer's end. Network infrastructure is related to the selection of operator working on our market - most frequently TP S.A., NASK, Telbank, ATOM/IT, Global One - and the selection of links adequate for a given network and services offered by him.

We also design WANs with large throughput for the data transmission using SDH, ATM, IP technologies. We define the trends of their development and examine the feasibility and profitability of specific investments. We provide also opinions on the executed inter-operator agreements in this area.

Structural cabling

The quality of installation on the final, local stretch of network is increasingly important. Modern structural cabling is delivered in line with the idea of intelligent building. The signal installations designed for data transmission, telephony, supervision, control and management are carried out along with the dedicated power installations. Every project delivered by us results from the analysis of investor's current needs, development projections - especially in relation to the demand for the transmission band, object structures and the core principles of openness (wide open) and saturation.
The structural cabling is most frequently based on the backbone built of single-modem optical fibre and the horizontal cabling is delivered in line with the OFTD optic fibre technology or more frequently the copper cables: UTP, FTP, STP, SUTP, SSTP.

Molex, Premise Networks (Mod-Tap), Alcatel, Krone technologies represent the core technologies offered by COMPOL 2 in the delivery of structural cabling. The work is carried out in line with the currently applicable standards - among others IEC 11801, EN 50173 - defining the cabling categories as 5 and 5 extended. The final one ensures the possibility of transmission in the range of frequency required by Gigabit-Ethernet. The cabling delivered by us can include practically all implemented currently operating protocols of data transmission for LAN - first of all Ethernet 10-, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T, FDDI, ATM. The delivered active and passive devices are covered with the manufacturer's guarantee for several years or an unlimited guarantee.

Each delivered project is finished with the measurement of cabling confirming the functional assumptions and normative networks, the process of certification allowing to obtain apart from the performer's guarantee also the manufacturer's guarantee and the post-performance documentation.
