PC-Corsac systems are based on an open PC hardware platform, so that flexible system configuration is possible (number and types of handled lines and their location in LAN / WAN). Access to data is usually closed and protected against unauthorised access. In case of other software manufacturers, at the level of OEM release, it can be open within the SQL standard so that data management is possible to a certain degree outside the system application.

This system structure allows development of both cheap and simple systems as well as comprehensive and extensive systems. The expansion of a simple system with the addition of new lines or extra recorders is not only possible at any time, but it also has no impact on its current operations, and it does not limit the system's functionality or performance.

The adopted architecture of PC Corsac® allows for a possible integration of the recordings base with databases from other telecommunication systems, such as call centre or CRM.
