PC-Corsac®
telephone and radio call recording systems
Technology - development
Each PC-Corsac® system is custom-designed, and therefore requires that design and performance parameters are individually agreed with the customer. The only standard part is the core system functionality, described in the first part of the chapter entitled "Functionality". Some features of the system are dependent on the existing or planned telecommunication infrastructure, e.g. on the type and software of PBX, on the number and type of recorded telephone and radio lines, possibly on the number and type of leased public links.
Moreover, the user should indicate the places in LAN or WAN, where the recording should be carried out and the location of one or more data bases with recordings. The customer also defines his requirements with regard to the manner of the data protection, access rights and the manner of data management.
In addition, the integration of PC Corsac® with other user's systems is also possible, e.g. with call centre or CRM systems.
The subject of agreement is not only the structure and functional parameters of the PC-Corsac® system, but also the manner of developing it.
If the user wants to use his own PC at least partially, the system development may be only restricted to the cards or USB devices interfacing the system with a telephone line.
However, if the user does not want additional PCs in the network (and monitors), recorders can be built in the form of "black boxes" operating in the background and managed from other, indicated network, workstation.
